General Rules and Regulations

No one may be admitted without member verification at the front desk. Members without pictures in membership book are required to show valid ID.

Access to the pool is contingent upon the annual family dues being paid in full.

All children (under 10 yrs) must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person.

Any member, who uses language or engages in actions unbecoming to a club member, may be suspended or expelled.

Should a member be found to damage any pool property, the cost of said property will be charged to the responsible family's membership.

Deliberate misrepresentation of membership access is grounds for family membership revocation.

Trash and refuse must be placed in containers provided for your use.

Food and beverages are not permitted on deck area, including the baby pool area.

All bicycles must be parked in spaces provided.

Persons using this pool do so at their own risk.

Running, pushing, dunking, wrestling or causing undue disturbances in or about the pool areas is prohibited.

There will be a children's rest period of at least 15 minutes every hour. (Age 15 and under)

Innertubes, rafts, noodles, kickboards (other than lap swimming) or other large water toys are not permitted in the main pool. Soft sporting equipment may be used in the main pool only by specific permission of the pool manager.

Children using life preservers, "water wings" or other flotation devices are limited to the shallow end of the pool and must stay within arm's reach of a responsible adult.
- Maximum number of guests allowed per membership is 8 unless prior approval has been given from the Director of Membership & Operations
- Guest Passes: Members must accompany their guests and remain with them for the duration of the guests visit at MWSC

Pool Rules and Regulations

Children under 3 shall not enter the main pool at any time.

Children of any age NOT potty trained may NOT enter the main pool.

Small children in diapers or not “potty” trained must go into the baby pool and must also wear protective plastic pants, (Montgomery County Health Department requires this non-water permeable barrier).

Children over 5 shall not enter the baby pool at any time.

Safe water toys are permitted in the baby pool subject to approval of pool manager.

Members must be able to swim unassisted in order to use the Diving Boards.

Divers must go off the board straight forward and swim to the nearest ladder. One diver on the board at any given time. Divers must wait on the pool deck until the preceding diver has reached the ladder.

Only one (1) bounce is permitted on the diving boards.

Pool Manager has the authority to expel anyone for 24 hours or less for failure to abide by the rules or for unbecoming behavior.

Concerns/Issues should be directed to the Executive Director via email or verbal communication. Contact information is listed on the Board of Directors listing.

Alcohol is permitted to be consumed in limited amounts on pool property with the following limitations:

Alcohol may only be consumed on weekends (Friday 4 pm through Sunday closing), holidays, and at designated MW social events

No glass containers are permitted anywhere on MW property
-
Anyone consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older

Alcohol may only be present or consumed outside the pool deck fence, but not on the snack bar deck except as permitted for official MW social events
- Alcohol is not permitted at Swim and Dive Team events when the pool is otherwise closed to members
